Modules taught are adult, child, and infant CPR and relief of choking
Length of class is approximately 3 hours if all modules are taught
This course is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements
Modules taught are adult, child, and infant CPR and relief of choking including the use of a barrier mask and an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
Length of class is approximately 3 hours if all modules are taught
Successfully passing a skills test is required
A Heartsaver CPR/AED completion card valid for 2 years is provided at the completion of the class
This course is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements
Modules taught deal with medical, injury, and environmental emergencies. This course
can be taken alone or in conjunction with Heartsaver CPR/AED
Length of class is approximately 4 hours
Successfully passing both a written and skills test is required
A Heartsaver First Aid completion card valid for 2 years is provided at the completion of the class
This course is designed for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physicians assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential documenting successful completion of this level class
Modules taught are as required by AHA
Length of class is approximately 4 - 1/2 hours
Successfully passing both a skills test and written exam are required
A BLS for Healthcare Providers completion card valid for 2 years is provided at the completion of the class

This course is intended for individuals who desire or are required to become trained in the use of commercial and improvised control devices for the immediate management of severe external bleeding
There are no prerequisites for this class
